The LDF dual clutch gearbox was calibrated for factory torque and the clutches can slip when you exceed what they clamp for. At mild power the factory setup usually copes. Plan the gearbox alongside the power target from day one.
FAQ 7: Does Miami heat really matter that much?
Enormously, and it is the most underestimated factor here. Compressed air is already hot and our summer air is hot before it reaches the intercooler. Hot air costs you power and cuts your safety margin at the same time. Add a bay sealed under glass and you see why we usually recommend air to water intercooling here.
FAQ 8: Should I run E85 in my Huracan?
It is a real advantage in this climate. E85 has very high effective octane and it cools the intake charge as it evaporates, which fights our heat directly. It needs around thirty percent more fuel flow, which is exactly where the dual injection architecture helps. Just never mix it up with a 93 map.
FAQ 9: All wheel drive or rear wheel drive, which is better for boost?
All wheel drive puts the power down and is far easier to use every day, especially on a damp Miami morning. The trade off is more drivetrain parts with their own limits. Rear wheel drive is the enthusiast choice and becomes genuinely demanding with big boost, because traction is now your limit rather than power.
FAQ 10: Should I supercharge my Performante or STO?
Think carefully. Those are special, more collectible Huracans where originality carries real value. On an STO or Tecnica we usually advise leaving the powertrain alone entirely. An LP610 is a normal, well trodden build. The same job carries very different weight depending on which car is in your garage.
FAQ 11: Will it hurt my resale value?
It depends on the buyer. A supercharged Huracan appeals to a smaller pool than a stock one, though the right buyer will pay for a proper build because doing it themselves costs more. Reversibility and documentation protect you. Keep every factory part stored and labeled, and keep every invoice.
